The greatest challenge to college life is social and economic issues. It has become increasingly difficult to be a normal college student in the college environment with all the negative portrayal of college students (particularly male). The social environment for college students is some that is described as reckless, “rape culture,” frat parties, and so on and so forth. And while some of this is true, it is hardly reasonable to apply to all members of this group given that such a small amount may participate in any of these. Prime examples being “rape culture” and frat partiers. Statistics just are true when it comes to this two, but the media does it no justice and makes it extremely difficult to enjoy college life. Not only are the social worlds of college students highly difficult, but the affordability is increasingly more difficult. Grants and loans and the FASFA are given, but the prices of education have increased while the market of jobs accessible to college students has decreased. Not because they are unable to do the jobs, but because of the compromises the employer would have to make to keep a college student employed. In contrast to free institutions, college students show greater tendencies of depression and uneasiness because they are not able to pay for most of their courses. Not only that but also the backlash effect of having to pay loans off when they have graduated. These two very simply things are college students greatest problems.
