I am here again to give yet another brief word. This time on a matter that a believe causes a lot of confusion. I will clarify all asked questions that pertain to this by the Word of God.
Repentance: What is repentance? Repentance is the sincere, sovereign calling to God for the forgiveness or remission of sin. Why do I put emphasis on sincere? Simple. If you recall a thread a made a while back, I said that there are two types of repentance. Godly and worldly. Godly is the sovereign sincere calling to God for the remission of sin. Peter preached on repentance and it's importance. It is impossible to get into Heaven with out that sincere "Godly" repentance.
Sin: What is sin? How do we sin? Isn't all sin created equal in the eyes of our Lord, God? Sin is the misuse, wrong-doing oppression against the Word of God. We sin daily which is why repentance is so important. The Bible says " All men have sinned and come short of the Glory of God" Humankind is born into sin. It is in our nature to be sinful. We sin and don't even know it. Again the importance of repentance. Sin is an everlasting cycle. You can no sooner stop sinning than the Earth can stop spinning. Is all sin created equal? NO! All sins are equal with the exception of one. Blasphemy.
Blaspheme: What is blasphemy? How can it be avoided? If we have blasphemed against God can we repent for it? Blasphemy is the refusal of God and the slander of His name and His Word. Example: To place God in the position of a sinner is blaspheme against Him. It can be avoided. You have to be careful when handling God's Word and when using His name. The Jews called him Jehovah because they feared His name. They did not want to blaspheme against His name. In the Bible Jesus said you can do all kinds of things unto him, but blaspheme against his Father's Word is unforgivable. And the angels of the Lord would cast thee into the lake of fire. I am uncertain whether or not you can repent for blasphemy, but if you do so happen to blaspheme against God, you should immediately plead for forgiveness and pray He hears you.
I hope I was able to clarify any questions that you may have had. If you have any other questions that I did not answer, please leave it in your comment.
