I just wanted to know the opinions of the forum on abortions.
I personally believe that life begins at conception, and from a scientific standpoint, it does, being that a cell is the basic unit of life.
I believe that to abort an unborn baby, is the same as murdering another human being.
But, I am open to hearing the opinions of others. So speak now!

Wow. This is a thread that would spark a lot of attention if we had more members.
I am against abortion. Not because of the murder of the unborn and/or developing fetus, but because a child is a gift directly from God. TO KILL God's gift is just horrible.

Yes. Really. I am more concerned on how it is a spit in the face to God than it is to say that an unborn baby that can't even see or breath yet to be murdered.d

Suppose someone is an atheist and doesn't believe in God.
Even if they don't believe it to be a gift from God, it is still murder regardless.

I suppose if you look at it that way. I however believe that it should be entirely up to the state rather than the Federal Government to determine whether or not it should be illegal. In recent days, the Fed is trying to regulate everything.

I couldn't agree more about the Federal government's overreach, it is unbelievable how much state power has been usurped by the Feds over the last few decades.

Yes. As it is, the economy would probably do rise faster without all the Federal Regulations. And as for abortions, if I recall correctly, it was supposed to have been decided long ago that the states regulate abortion. Not the Federal Government.

i don't think it shouldn't because just to say if someone got rapped when they are young i wouldn't want my child to keep a baby or have one. Although my child will never get rapped.

im with thor here (well and pace too) all people deserve a chance.i think it is murder and a horrbale thing to o to anyone thug think what if your parents diced to abort you?now think about that it abors me it IS muder and i absouly think it should be illgeal.

Yes, abortion should be illegal at all times no matter what. Getting pregnant and then deciding to get rid of an unborn baby, just because they never planned to have a baby or because they never wanted a baby, is just a stupid excuse to do. And even if the woman was rapped, she shouldn't do that EVER.
Babies deserve to live, no matter what the situation. This is why God is mad because we are doinfg things we aren't supposed to. And just like Pace said, that people just spit on Gods face, well these people are definetely going to hell and suffer for their sins, for murdering an unborn child. Ok, so even if the woman has aborted the baby, she is still a mother. All these unborn babies, its just sad to even think about it.
I have learned from a Christian website that, all the aborted baby parts are sold just for MONEY!! So YES! Abortion should be illegal.
People just have cold hearts and dont care for even their own selves. It's so sad.
